Pili, Camarines Sur – TESDA Regional Training Center – Pili officially launched its e-Vehicle Training Facility on June 5, 2025, through a partnership with Snappmile Inc., a logistics company promoting green technology.
The event featured a ceremonial blessing and turnover of solar-powered e-trikes and tools donated by Snappmile to support training in electric vehicle assembly, repair, and maintenance. A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed, marking a shared commitment to innovation and sustainability.
TESDA Deputy Director General Nelly Nita Dillera, Snappmile COO Bernardo H. Madera, TESDA Region V Acting RD Mariglo M. Sese, Camarines Sur Acting PD Roberto delas Llagas, and RTC Pili Center Administrator June B. Oliveros were present, along with other TESDA officials. All expressed strong support for the project. “This collaboration bridges technical skills and sustainability,” said DDG Dillera. “It shows the power of public-private partnerships in creating real impact.”
The facility will train future technicians for the green transport sector, giving them hands-on experience with electric vehicle systems. TESDA continues to lead in preparing a future-ready, environmentally aware workforce – proving that Kapag sama-sama, sa TESDA, kayang-kaya!
